Cetingrad clinic reports a fall in respiratory cases
Doctors caution that the improvement follows two wet winters, not a change in the foundries.

The Foundry District clinic has recorded a fall of about a fifth in new respiratory cases over the past year, its director said, the sharpest drop since the clinic began reporting the figure.
The clinic attributes the fall to two wet winters and the reduced dust from the idle No. 3 furnace at the Vokamet works. Its director warned that the numbers track weather and output, not policy, and that the Red Shore shoreline remains uncleaned.
The council’s clean-up motion, passed on Tuesday, would fund the first independent health survey of the district since 2016.
