investigation
Internal reports obtained by Northfocus show the tailings wall above the Bistrica River was flagged unsafe eleven months before it failed. The company disputes the documents. The regulator has opened a review.
media
Viewers in four northern districts reported buffering through the Assembly session; the operator blames maintenance.
Northfocus is a reader-owned media cooperative. We take no money from the Chancellory, from SeverMin, or from the parties. Every subscription pays for reporting in Bistrica, Pulma, Lipovljana, Dvor and Cetingrad.
The nightly news, anchored from Bistrica. Harvest yields, union strikes, and the council votes that the capital ignores.
Presented by the Northfocus newsroom. Repeated at 23:00.
The documentary series on Lake Vokavovic, Vokamet and the parent company behind the discharge. Broadcast in 2011 and 2012, and still cited in Cetingrad's clean-up campaigns.
Subject of Vokamet v. Northfocus. The injunctions were vacated on appeal.
The full parliamentary session, uncut. We keep the interruptions, the points of order and the Northern Power speeches edited out of the state broadcast.
Broadcast live when the Assembly sits, and archived the same evening.
The drone stream of the 2018 Bistrica water protests, broadcast past the police cordon and the state media blackout.
Unedited footage.

The MLA should not choose who may report
Two of our reporters were refused accreditation this week. The reason given was standards; the reason meant is coverage.

Devolution is not a favour, it is a right
A district that cannot tax, borrow or license its own industry will always be a colony of the capital.
