Snow closes Viskogorje trains for a second day
Republic Rail has laid on coaches in the north while crews clear the valley.
Heavy snow is keeping the Viskogorje mountain line closed for a second day, Republic Rail has said.
RZ has laid on coaches between Lipovljana and Dubica, and expects to reopen the Dubica line on Friday morning. All trains to Cetingrad and Sinj are cancelled until at least Sunday morning.
The early snow follows a wet summer in Viskogorje and Severnivaraje. Severnivaraje Forestry Cooperative have postponed several timber shipments to Lipovljana until Friday.
